    This place is not fancy and it's very dimly lit BUT the food is good!  I've eaten here every time I've visited Augusta and it never disappoints.  The owner is Lawrence and he'll probably be the one taking your order. Everything here is pretty good. I usually get the oxtails, rice & peas and fried plantains.

    So I have been to this place about 5 times in a month's span. It has been consistent each and every time my family and I have ordered. The jerk chicken is seasoned well and a great portion when sampling two chicken choices... I like the curry chicken but I would love it to have more spice like the jerk however it's a great option for those who like mild flavors and children will love it!

    The restaurant is known for its reputation of having the best Caribbean food in Augusta. I finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the oxtails and jerk chicken combination dinner portion. I loved the fact they offered two meat combination. The oxtails were good but it was a small portion compared to the amount of jerk chicken I received. Also wish the oxtails come with the gravy.The jerk chicken was nice and spicy, true to its name. The peas and rice was good. The hidden gem is the cabbage side. It's cooked to perfection. Only negative is the parking. Definitely will dine again.

    I had the oxtail dinner with rice and peas & stir fry cabbage. Full of flavor! I also ordered a beef patty and fried plantain on the side. So glad I found this jewel! I also loved the building and the decor. It gives you that Jamaican feel. Definitely will be coming again.
